Space is limited!
Kindergarten at RVCS is an all day program. Students are encouraged to continue the development of their social skills, while structure in the classroom gives special emphasis to reading readiness. A strong phonics approach is used to teach the children to read. It is our goal that each kindergarten student will want to read.
Kindergarteners at RVCS are also educated in Science, Math, Social Sciences, Music, Art, and Physical Education. The Kindergarten class takes advantage of the gym, computer labs, and other resources offered in the secondary departments.
Mrs. Fletcher is passionate about writing, reading good literature and watching Spongebob cartoons. She received her BA in Communications from Cal State Fullerton. She earned her AA and Early Childhood Education certificate at the Santa Rosa Junior College.
